About Wiingy projects

Music professionals in the network contribute to a range of work depending on the project:

  • Evaluating how frontier AI models understand, generate, analyze, and reason about music across genres, instruments, and musical traditions.
  • Reviewing AI-generated music for musicality, harmony, melody, rhythm, performance quality, stylistic accuracy, and technical correctness.
  • Authoring reference analyses, annotations, and reasoning traces for music understanding and generation tasks.
  • Generating and verifying training data for supervised fine-tuning (SFT), preference feedback (RLHF), and verifiable-reward (RLVR) work.
  • Identifying where model reasoning or music generation breaks: harmonic errors, rhythmic inconsistencies, stylistic inaccuracies, incorrect notation, or unsupported musical interpretations.
  • Stress-testing and red-teaming music AI systems against professionally reviewed benchmark datasets.

Projects vary in scope and duration, with typical commitments in the range of 10–20 hours per week. Each task is scoped, with its rate shown upfront, and you choose what to take on.
