Experts in the finance network contribute to a range of work depending on the project:

• Evaluating how frontier models handle advanced quantitative finance: asset pricing, derivatives and risk modeling, portfolio theory, and financial-statement reasoning.
• Authoring reference solutions, worked analyses, and reasoning traces to the standard of a defensible analyst memo.
• Generating and verifying training data for supervised fine-tuning (SFT), preference feedback (RLHF), and verifiable-reward (RLVR) work.
• Flagging where model reasoning breaks: a wrong assumption, an invalid method, an unsupported conclusion.
• Stress-testing and red-teaming outputs for subtle domain errors, and holding calibration against gold-standard items.

Projects vary in scope and duration, with typical commitments in the range of 10-20 hours per week. Each task is scoped, with its rate shown upfront, and you choose what to take on.

• Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative field, or a CFA charter (or equivalent professional standing).
• Working fluency with valuation, stochastic models, fixed income, derivatives, or risk analytics.
• Strong analytical communication and the ability to write a tight, defensible rationale for a technical judgment.
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment.
