About Wiingy projects
Experts in the Computer Science Researcher network contribute to a range of work depending on the project:
- Evaluating how frontier AI models reason across advanced computer science topics, including algorithms, systems, programming languages, machine learning, databases, distributed systems, networking, security, and formal methods.
- Authoring research-grade reference solutions, benchmark tasks, technical analyses, and expert reasoning traces for AI model evaluation.
- Generating and verifying training data for supervised fine-tuning (SFT), preference feedback (RLHF), and verifiable-reward (RLVR) work.
- Identifying where model reasoning breaks: incorrect algorithms, flawed proofs, invalid assumptions, inefficient implementations, or unsupported technical conclusions.
- Designing challenging evaluation datasets, benchmarks, and stress tests that measure model performance against expert-reviewed gold standards.
Projects vary in scope and duration, with typical commitments in the range of 10–20 hours per week. Each task is scoped, with its rate shown upfront, and you choose what to take on.
What we're looking for
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent research experience in academia or industry.
- Strong expertise in one or more computer science research areas, demonstrated through publications, research projects, or professional experience.
- Excellent analytical communication skills and the ability to write rigorous, well-supported technical explanations.
- Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment.
