About Wiingy's talent network

Join Wiingy AI's Biology Expert Network to work with the frontier AI labs that rely on expert-grade biological judgment. This is an open application for future contract opportunities matched to your background - not a specific job posting. Complete your profile, pass our expert vetting, and you become eligible for biology projects as they open. We match experts to work on a rolling basis, so you apply once and stay connected to relevant opportunities as they arise.

About Wiingy projects

Experts in the biology network contribute to a range of work depending on the project:

  • Evaluating how frontier models reason across molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, physiology, immunology, microbiology, and related life science domains.
  • Authoring reference solutions, biological analyses, and reasoning traces grounded in established scientific literature and experimental evidence.
  • Generating and verifying training data for supervised fine-tuning (SFT), preference feedback (RLHF), and verifiable-reward (RLVR) work.
  • Identifying where model reasoning fails: incorrect biological mechanisms, unsupported conclusions, flawed experimental interpretation, or misuse of scientific terminology.
  • Stress-testing and red-teaming model outputs for subtle scientific inaccuracies while maintaining calibration against expert-reviewed gold-standard references.

Projects vary in scope and duration, with typical commitments in the range of 10–20 hours per week. Each task is scoped, with its rate shown upfront, and you choose what to take on.

What we're looking for

  • Advanced degree in biology, life sciences, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, or a closely related field, or equivalent research or industry experience.
  • Strong expertise in one or more biological disciplines, with the ability to critically evaluate scientific evidence and biological reasoning.
  • Excellent scientific communication skills and the ability to write clear, defensible explanations for technical judgments.
  • Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment.
